In my reviews I am sharing my personal thoughts on a book. I prefer this rather than an analytical review as they eliminate the enjoyment of reading. Also, they can often be harsh for the author. I give honest reviews and this sometimes means low ratings on books. This does not necessarily mean that everything about the book did not appeal to me. There may have been things that I thought were good; but I just didn't enjoy the book as a whole.
Every review I post contains:
- An image of the cover art
- Details about publication
- A book summary (Taken from Amazon/Goodreads)
- My rating
I post my reviews on goodreads and on this blog. However if you would like me to post a review on other sites e.g Amazon etc. please notify me through the email
Do I accept review copies?
Yes! I do accept review copies as long as they in the YA genre. This is mostly what I enjoy reading and seeing as this is a YA book blog; that is what I review. Depending on the time that the book is received, I will try to review it as soon as possible. Books given to me for review have priority over books bought. eBooks are also accepted, although if possible I would prefer the book in hand. If this isn't possible I do not mind in the slightest!
Review Criteria
I will accept any form of physical book if it is in the YA genre as stated above. Unfortunately, I currently do not accept books from self-published authors.
